Part of the Mayo Dark Sky Festival. Close the festival with a free walk from Newport Playground, across the 19th-century viaduct and up to St Patrick's Church, featuring large-scale lanterns by sculptor Tom Meskell. Assemble from 18:00 for an 18:30 start. Child-friendly, and no concert ticket is needed.
